New family register

Menu command File > New family register
Key command Ctrl+Shift+N | Cmd+N

To create a new family register

  1. Activate any of the above command. A window opens.
  2. Give the family register a descriptive name but exclude special characters and spaces. The name must not begin with numbers or the phrase "sys" and the name must be unique.
    If a register already exists with the name you entered a warning appears.
    Select the language of the family register. The language selection determines how eg names are sorted in the registry.
  3. Press OK.
