Key command Ctrl+Shift+P

Activate above command to manage structured places with map coordinates.

The Search field, where you search places containing the search phrase receives focus if you press F3. Press Enter to search the next occurrence of the phrase.

You can import and export places to and from an xml file (*.xml). To import requires that the file is exported from Genney or is structured so that Genney can understand it's content.

You can move user-defined places to another location in the tree by dragging and dropping a place to another parent.

Make regular exports of your locations as backup.

If you hold your mouse over a place, details are shown in an info box.

To edit a place

  1. Select a place in the tree and press  or Ctrl+R.
  2. Edit the place in the window
  3. Press OK to save.

To import places

  1. Press .
  2. Find your file in the file chooser with the extension *.xml.
  3. Press OK to import.
