Link existing persons

In biography > family tab you can link existing children, parents or a spouse to a person.

To connect a person to an existing parent

1. Highlight the person you want to connect parents to
2. Select Main menu > Biography and  Family tab
3. Press  or Ctrl+L on the line for parents to open a submenu and select Add existing parent. In Search person select person and press OK.
4. Select family in the list.

  To change a parent just click the parent and select from the search window.

To connect a person to an existing spouse

1. Highlight the person you want to connect the spouse to
2. In menu select Main menu > Biography and  Family tab
3. Press  or Ctrl+H on the line for Families to open a submenu and select Add spouse. In Search person select person and press OK.
4. If you get the option to choose family, select family and press OK.

To connect existing child to a person

1. Highlight the person you want to connect the child to
2. From the menu, select Main menu > Biography and  Family tab
3. Select the family that the child should belong to by selecting the tab for the family on the line for families. If there is no family, you must first add a family to be able to add a child here.
4. Press  or Ctrl+Shift+B in child table header and from menu select existing person to open Search person.
5. Select person and press OK.
