The genogram view shows the main person with the selected number of generations of descendants and ancestors. And all ancestors siblings. All in all, a view contains all possible blood ties to the main person and their partners within the number of generations chosen.

All families and births are shown in chronological order and in all families the husband (square) is to the left and the wife (circle) to the right.

Ancestors where both have multiple families have a somewhat complex view to minimize the number of connecting lines. Which parents it is affected by, is highlighted with somewhat thicker connecting lines.

In the pictures are F and M ancestors and have three families each. M's spouses stand to the left of M in chronological order and F's spouses stand to the right of F in chronological order.

  Child to M's first husband (M-1) will start from the gap between M-1 and F.
• 
  Child to F's första maka (F-1) will start from the gap between F and F-1.
• 
  Child to F och M will start from the gap between F-1 and M-2.
• Child to M's tredje make (M-2) will start from the gap between M-2 and M.
• Child to F's tredje make (F-2) will start from the gap between M and F-2.

Twins and triplets are shown with angled lines and the spouses' relationships are shown by the connecting line between spouses.
