Genney on Macbook Air M1 - Trackpad does not work

I am trying to use Genney on a Macbook Air M1, Genney does not respond to the installed trackpad nor a bluetooth Logitech trackball.  The trackpad and the Logitech will work outside of Genney.  Do you have any recommendations?

Is the trackpad updated according to the latest driver? Or have you tried to re-install the driver?
Are Genney working properly with another external device?

Sometimes just an restart of the computer will do the job!

Yes, Mac OS is up to date.  I have also reinstalled the Logitech Trackball.  Genney appears to work with everything other than the trackpad or trackball.  I have also power cycled and restarted the Macbook multiple times.  The cursor will move but Genney does not respond to the mouse (trackpad/trackball) clicks.
